Zero-knowledge encryption means your content is encrypted on your device before it leaves it. TheJourneyOf.Life's servers receive only the encrypted version and do not hold the decryption key. This means TheJourneyOf.Life genuinely cannot read your most private content — not because we have decided not to, but because we mathematically cannot. In TheJourneyOf.Life, zero-knowledge applies to your Private Journal and Security Vault credentials. Time Capsule messages are encrypted at rest instead, since they must remain readable by a future recipient who has no pre-shared key with you.
